Single-Room Occupancy

Columbus Apartments and the Lodge on Sass provide a total of 96 units of site-based, subsidized housing for single adults. These SRO facilities are the only of their kind in Erie County. Providing stable housing and enabling people to live with dignity is our primary goal. Through support services and case management offered by our staff, we help residents address issues that prevent them from being self-sufficient and maintaining stable housing. 

Our caseworkers devote more individual engagement with our residents as they work through their personal challenges that put them at risk for homelessness. We provide around-the-clock staff support at both buildings to ensure that all residents are able to live safely and comfortably. SRO housing allows people to reach their full potential and benefits everyone in the Erie community.
