After a child in the neighborhood lost their life to being malnourished, Community Shelter Services and The Kiwanis Club of Erie came together to make the “Kiwanis Caring Kitchen” a reality.

The “Kiwanis Caring Kitchen” at Community Shelter Services will serve three “meals” a day to children and families in the neighborhood. It is located in the parking lot at CSS on the corner of Poplar and West 16th Street. It will be open to anyone in the community who is hungry.

Thank you to The Kiwanis Club of Erie and The Times Old Newsies for making The “Kiwanis Caring Kitchen” possible. Artwork on the outside of the KCK was done by Taradoodles with the help of Troop 104G, Becky Conway and Antonio Howard.

This project is fueled by donations and volunteers working together to serve those who are hungry. Without YOU we cannot continue this mission. Please see below how to sign up to volunteer or make a donation.

To make a donation to the Kiwanis Caring Kitchen, please call 814-455-4369 or drop off the donation at CSS at 655 W. 16th Street.
